Rodney & Stacey Shaw

 

Senior Pastor

Rodney and Stacey Shaw have been a part of the pastoral staff since New Life Austin was established in 1992. After serving as assistant pastor and associate pastor, Pastor Shaw became senior pastor in 2010. In addition to preaching and teaching each week, he oversees pastoral care and the administration of New Life. The Shaws work as a team providing pastoral care and leading the ministries of the church. Stacey has served in most of the ministries of the church and has led many of them. She has a contagious smile and is known to be a woman of prayer and an encourager.

The Shaws have two children, Taylor and Brooke.

Pastor Shaw is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and earned a master of arts in theological studies from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and a diploma in theology from Texas Bible College.

David Bernard

 

Bishop

Bishop Bernard is the founding pastor of New Life Austin. He and his wife, Connie, started our church in 1992 and served at New Life full-time till 2010 when he became the the general superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church International, which is headquartered in St. Louis, MO. He now serves New Life Austin as a pastoral advisor.

He is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and earned the master and doctor of theology in New Testament from the University of South Africa, doctor of jurisprudence with honors from the University of Texas, and bachelor of arts magna cum laude in mathematical sciences and managerial studies from Rice University.

Zachary Klinedinst

 

Assistant Pastor

Zachary and his wife, Macy Klinedinst, joined the New Life staff in 2021 as assistant pastor. Prior to coming to New Life, they had served as a youth pastor and worked in administrative capacities. He is a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International. He received a master of arts degree in clinical mental health counseling from Messiah University and is currently enrolled in a doctor of ministry program focusing on strategic-transformational leadership at Corban University. Zachary is also a licensed professional counselor.

The Klinedinst’s have a daughter, Everleigh.

Jason Langley

 

Youth Pastor/Support Ministries

Jason and his wife Brittani started attending New Life in 2015. While they have both been involved in ministry most of their adult life, the Langleys began working with New Life Youth in 2016 and Jason became youth pastor in 2021. They love serving the youth and helping anywhere there is a need. Jason also serves as the Director of Support Ministries.

Rachel Sifuentes

 

Executive Administrator

Rachel and her husband Ricardo started attending New Life in 2006. The Sifuentes are thankful for the opportunity to pastor and serve our Spanish work that meets on Sundays. Rachel serves as the Bookkeeper and provides administrative support for the office.

They are also blessed with two children, Jonathan and Grace.

Shannon George

 

Music Director

Shannon and her husband Michael have been members of New Life since 2002. She serves as our Music Director and office support staff. The motto of New Life Music is "Every Service Counts." Shannon strives to bring a spirit of excellence to each service through anointing, unity, and purpose. Prior to becoming Music Director, Shannon and Michael served as Family Ministry Directors for over 10 years.

They are blessed with three children, Morgan, Brayden, and Gavin.
